    ما هو قانون INR

  • #2
    INR =Prothrompin ratio to the power of the ISI
    To obtain the INR, calculate the prothrombin ratio ,log the ratio multiply by the ISI,and antilog the result

        ما هو قانون INR

        INR=International Normalized Ratio

        Defenitio

        measure of the blood tendency to coagulant

        INR = (patient PT/mean normal PT)ISI

              Example

              prothrombin time=27.0 sec

              mean normal PT=12.0 sec

              reagent ISI =1.2

              calculated INR=2.7

                  ISI is the international normalized ratio, in which the manufacturer of the reagent test its reagent against a WHO reference human thromboplastin (we are not allowed to handle a human thromboplastic because it is highly infectious) , so as we are near 1.0 it is a good reagent (ISI should not exceed 1.5). But nowadays we are useing a recombinant highly lipidated human thromboplastin with an INR around 1.0 and it is a very good reagent.Thankyou
