الرد علي الأسألة المطروحة اتمني أن تكون فيها الايضاح

      _____________________________

      a) Autoinfection does not occur in Fasiola infection, BECAUSE
" Fasciola like all trematodes has complex indirect life cycle
and it's life cycle contains lot of extra-bodie's stages
like cercaria and meracidium and encysted metacercaria
      ________________________
      b) Radiology or serological tests are the most likely diagnostic procedures for hydatid disease BECAUSE
because hydatid disease is composed of hydatid cysts embeded in tissues like lungs and liver
and no stages will be find within stool or blood or any human fluid
n.b: human is an intermediate host and dog or fox is the final host of this parasite according to parasite species

      ________________________

      c) Rupture of hydatid cyst is very dangerous BECAUSE
because rupture of the cyst will release the protosclices of the worm's larvae that will circulate and make new cysts in other organs
and the most dangerous site is the brai and eyes
      _________________________

      d) Taenia saginata is less dangerous than T. solium infection BECAUSE
1- taenia solium has four hooks that attach will to intestinal villi and not easy to remove. only surgical
2- some of the used drugs may rupture the gravid segments releasing ova that may make internal autoinfection liberating larvae that will migrate to many tissues
      __________________________

      e) In serological diagnosis of parasitic diseases antigen detection is preferred on antibody detection, BECAUSE\
in any microbial disease the presence of antibody doesnt mean the presence of microbe because the microbe may be finished or removed by drug or immune response but it's antibodies still present in blood
and the presence of antigen is the real guide to the presence of microbe

      f) Autoinfection does not occur in Ascaris lumbercoides infection BECAUSE
because Ascaris sp. parasite has complex indirect life cycle
and it must undergo larval development
هذه المعلومة ليست بصحيحة 100% لان الاسكاريس ربما تعمل اعادة عدوي
      __________________________

      g) In diagnosis of schistosomiasis, antigen detection techniques is better than antibody detection BECAUSE

the same answer in section (e)

      h) Identification of viable schistosome ova is important BECAUSE

because only viable ovae with viable miracidia inside it indicates the presence of viable adults
and ovae with dead miracidia are dead ovae by drugs or any other facors within body
      __________________________

      i) Eating row fish may leads to megaloblastic anaemia
      BECAUSE
because eating raw fish may transmitt the Heterophyes sp trematode parasite to human via the encysted metacercaria of that parasite within the muscles of fish
that parasite may cause the megaloblastic anaemia
      __________________________

      j) In hydatidosis, 50% of lung cysts give negative result by antihydatid antibody detection kits, BECAUSE
i don't know the reason of that
      __________________________

      k) During examination of urine sample, you could see blood, phosphate salt, or lymph. These material may make the examination very difficult. How could you overcome this problem?
      a) For RBCs: destroy it with dropps of glacial acetic acid
      b) For phosphate: add few dropps of any available diluted acids
      c) For lymph: i think dilution of urine
      __________________________

      l) For diagnosis of schistosomiasis, antibody detection is only diagnostic while antigen detection is considered both …………………………………………and ……………………………… that mean it could be useful in ………………………………………………………………………………………….……_____________ _____________

      m) Detection of Fasciola ova in stool may not be indicative of active infection, Because

      may be :
1- ova of other intestinal Fasciola spp like F.gigantica and Fasciolepsis buski
2- the adult worm within the liver may be killed by immune response and encysted by any fibrous materials
      __________________________

      n) In Early stage (prepatent period) of fascioliasis, antigen detection in the patient's serum is preferred on antibody detection, BECAUSE………………………………….. ……………………………………………………………………………………………….
      __________________________

      o) In chronic fascioliasis, antigen detection in the patient's serum is NOT preferred BECAUSE…………………………………………………………………………………..
      __________________________

      p) Direct water contact is necessary for transmission of SOME but NOT ALL trematodes BECAUSE

only Schistosoma sp. is the only trematode that is transmitted to human by direct contact with contaminated water with cercariae furkocercous type
other types of trematodes have an extra stage in its life cycle after the cerarial stage like encysted metacercaria
on plant leaves in case of fasciola
      in fish muscles in heterophyes
      __________________________

      q) In certain occasion eating frozen food is more healthy than fresh unfrozen one BECAUSE

which type of food u mean?

      __________________________

      r) Floataion concentration techniques used for stool examination are not used for detection of Fasciola or Schistosoma ova BECAUSE

because both Fasciola and schistosoma ovae are large and have heavy weight and sooo will not float on the surface.
      __________________________

      s) In histological examination of tissues, section in Shistosoma mansoni ova could be differentiated from that of S. haematobium by using
      BECAUSE

      the question is not obvious
but it may differs in the site tissue sections taken
      urinary bladder in S.hematobium
      rectum in S.mansoni
      __________________________

      t) Some parasites could infect man by both larva and egg, for example
      a) Taenis spp
      b) Echinococcus sp (Hydatid disease)
