my broter , use cal
-oxalate solution 1percent to distelled water , add 10 micron of blood to 200 micron of this solution then very fast before the mixture becomes clear red put it over the slide - put 10 micron of the mixture over the counting slide - count the platlets in 5 squares of the red counting squares-chambers- they appear circular and smaller than RBcs ,,ca -oxalate dissolve rbcs very fast ,it also dissolve the platlets slower than the RBcs this gives u time to count the platlets . thank u .
