من يوضح لنا أكثر عن فصيلة الدم النادرة
وبالطبع فإن حاملين هذه الفصيلة قليليين

فصيلة الدم النادره هي الفصيله O negative

تسمى ب O bombay سبب التسميه : لكثرة وجودها في منطقة بومباي التي توجد في الهند

الشخص الحامل لهذا الفصيلة لايستقبل الى من نفس الفصيله

وهي دائما ماتكون وراثيه من أحدى الوالدين

The Bombay blood group lacks H gene and therefore cannot make H antigen (H substance). Since the H substance is the precursor for the A and B antigens, these antigens also are not made. The cells type as O and the serum has anti-A, anti-B, and anti-H since the individual lacks all of these antigens. Anti-H agglutinates O cells. The only cells Bombay individuals do not agglutinate are from other Bombay blood people since they lack the H antigen,
and the O bombay is not a sub-group of any other group, not even O -ve or O +ve.

so, not all The O negative grouping is O bombay group

اضافة لما قاله ANTIVIRUS - يمكن اكتشاف فصيلة BOMBAY عن طريق عمل POOLED O CELLS مع PATIENT SERUM النتيجة ستكون ايجابية و هذا غير طبيعي و السبب هو وجود ANTI H في سيرم المريض و الذي تفاعل مع H ANTIGEN الموجود في غالبية ال O CELLS .
اما بالنسبة للفصائل النادرة فهناك فصائل نادرة غير ال O negative او ال bombay - مثال على ذلك gerbeg blood group ,وهي فصيلة تحتوي على anti g مزيدا من التفاصيل لاحقا .

احببت ان اضيف شيئا الى موضوع الفصيلة النادرة . كما تفضل الزملاء الاعزاء فان فصيلة bomby group تعتبر نادرة وايضا فصيلة gerbeg ولكن هناك فصائل نادرة ايضا والحاجة لها كبيرة من قبل بعض مرضى نقل الدم المتواصل مثل:
1- فصيلة دم O NEG ويكون فيها c antigens NEG .
2- فصيلة دم تكون s, fya, fYb,k ,Jka,antigens negative .

becuse the chanse of having leb antigen negative
is very rare and take long time to finde compatible blood

1-Lewis antibodies occur almost exclusively in the sera of Le(a-b-) people, and usually without known RBC stimulus.
2- People whose RBC phenotype is Le(a- b+) do not make anti-Lea because small amounts of unconverted Lea are present in their saliva and plasma.
3- It is unusual to find anti-Leb in the serum of a Le(a+ b-) person.
4-Anti-Lea and anti-Leb may occur together in sera.

Anti-Lea and anti-Leb are almost always IgM and do not cross the placenta. Because of this, and because Lewis antigens are poorly developed at birth, the antibodies have not been implicated in HDN?. Lewis antibodies may bind complement. Fresh sera that contain anti-Lea (or infrequently anti- Leb) may cause the in vitro hemolysis of incompatible RBCs. In vitro hemolysis is more often seen with enzyme-treated RBCs than with untreated RBCs.
