السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته

when i cultured a urine sample on mackonky agar after 24 hours i got growth of very sticky pink colonies of gram negative coccobacilli characters

but the strange thing is that the colonies start to lose its sticky characters and its pink color by the next 24 hours

i think the organism is klebsiella pneumonia because it showed encapsulated organism

but what i cant understand is how the colonies lost its color and sticky characters

have any one a something to explain me this
