CREATIVE WORKS:
1. Have found for the first time that the very rare fungus Triadelphia pulvinata causes human infection. The work has been published in the “Journal of Clinical Microbiology” which is a well recognized Journal with a worldwide distribution.

2. Have described a new fungal species which we found to be the cause of brain abscesses (cerebral phaeohyphomycosis) in Saudi Arabian patients and elsewhere in the Middle East. This was done in collaboration with Dr. Collin Campbell at Bristol, U.K. The work has been published in the “Journal of Med. And Vet. Mycology (the name changed recently to Medical Mycology) which is the Official Journal of the International Society for Human and Animal Mycology. The citation of this is:
