    وكمان Legionella micdadei which cause nosocomial pneumonia
    بس ليش تقاوم acid decolorization يعني ايش اللي موجود فيها ؟

      acid fast stain is bacteria that contain high wax content in their cell wall which cause them to retain the primary stain carbolfuchsin when decolorized with acid alcohol

            I want to correct my answer that Legionella pneumophila is G-ve not acid fast

            the only species that stain acid fast is Legionella micdadei

            In the coming question i will make sure that my information is true befor writting it

              the base of of acid fast stain is to distinguish between bacteria that contain high lipid content in their cell wall which is called acid fast stain from those of low lipid content that is called non-acid fast stain and the most important example of acid fast bacteria is mycobacterium tubercolosis

                      رجل كبير فى العمر كا ن يتلقى العلاج بعد اجراء عملية قلب مفتوح فى المستشفى بعد خروجة منها اصيب بالتهاب رئوى

                      تم اخذ عينة من البصاق وتم زراعتها وكانت النتائج التالية

                      Gram-negative rods
                      does not ferment carbohydrate

                      colonies with green pigments

                        البكتيريا هي Pseudomonas aeruginosa
                        خاصة ان المريض كان في المستشفى والسودوموناس معروفة انها تسبب
                        nosocomial infections وهي اللي تفرز green pigments

                              a-capsulated
                              b-non-motile
                              c- grow in low temperature
                              d-pigmented
                              e-oxidase =negative
                              f- fishy odour


                              اى من الخصائص التالية صحيحة وايهما خطأ مع تصويبة
