Iron overload cause

they are two types of iron over load primary over load and secondary over load :
Primary iron overload: results from genetic disorders of iron metabolism that cause
excessive absorption of iron from the diet or deficient iron transport within the body.
Secondary iron overload: results from factors that bypass normal iron metabolic
pathways such as multiple blood transfusions or acute or chronic iron poisoning.
other causes:
Dietary iron overload
Porphyria cutanea tarda
Fatty liver disease
Neonatal iron overload
complications of iron over load

As the iron accumulates in the body it settles in areas like the testes, heart, liver, and pancreas.
Once the iron has settled into these organs and increases in amount through the years, it can
begin damaging the organs and causing severe complication. Iron in the testes can result in
impotence and testicular shrinkage. Iron in the heart can develop cause heart attacks and deposite
in the liver can cause cirrhosis and liver cancer. If the iron deposits in the pancreas, it can cause
diabetes. If gone untreated, the complcations from iron overload could lead to deat.
treatment

scheduled phlebotomies if their is no tolerence
