الطريقه بصورة مختصرة هي كالاتي
ناخذ 0.4mlمن دم المريض
وناخذ من مادةE.S.R
1.6ml
يترك لمدة دقيقتين
وبعدها يوضع في تيوب E.S.Rبايبيت ويعلق في الحامل
لمدة ساعة كامله
وبعدها تقراء النتائج
واذا احببت ان اوضح ليك الطريقة وماهي التحولات التي تحدث اثناء العملية
والنسب الطبيعية
لكلا الجنسين
فقط اطلب ذالك واكوت سعيد بطلبك هذا

اخي العزيز هذي الطريقة تسمى westrgreen method وهذه هي الطريقة الشائعة لحد الان ولكن اريد ان اعرف اذا كان هنالك طريقة اخرى لقياس ال E.S.R وجزاك الله خيراتعليق

اخوي حبيت اقول انو الطريقة هذي ما تستخدم كثير حسب ما شفت في المختبر ولكن دوم تستخدم ال
"westrgreen method" بس راح اكتب عن كيفية استخدام "wintrob method" مثل ماتعرفن عليها في الدراسه فقط .

Transferred the blood to the wintrob tube with pasteus pipette up to mark zero
The tube placed verticaly in it is stand and timeis noted
At the end of one hoer the reading corrspnding to the top of red cell layeris noted in mm

DETERMINATION OF SEDIMENTATION RATE (WINTROBE-LANDSBERG)
a. Principle. Anticoagulated blood is placed in a narrow tube. The blood cells settle out of the suspension, leaving clear plasma above them. The distance that the erythrocytes fall within a given interval of time is measured.
b. Procedure.
(1) Draw 5 ml of blood by venipuncture and place in a test tube containing ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) (lavender top vacuum tube).
(2) Thoroughly mix the blood and anticoagulant by gently inverting the tube several times, being careful not to cause bubbles.
(3) Draw the blood into the capillary pipet and fill the Wintrobe tube to the “0” mark. This is done by inserting a capillary pipet to the bottom of the Wintrobe tube, while holding it at an angle of 45°. As the tube is filled, slowly withdraw the pipet so that the tip is always just below the level of the blood. The blood count must be free of bubbles.
(4) Place the filled Wintrobe tube in a rack in an exactly vertical position and note the time and roan temperature.
(5) At the end of exactly 1 hour, read the level to which the red cells have settled on the descending scale etched on the tube. Each mark equals 1.0 mm while each numbered mark equals 10 mm (1 cm). The figure obtained is reported in mm per hour as the "uncorrected" erythrocyte sedimentation rate.
(6) If a "corrected" sedimentation is requested, perform a hematocrit. Calculators to correct for sedimentation rate are available in the Federal Supply Catalog.

c. Sources of Error.
(1) The blood specimen must be properly mixed with the proper anticoagulant to obtain an undiluted representative sample.
(2) The test should be set up within two hours after the blood sample is collected to avoid a false low sedimentation rate.
(3) Increase in temperature accelerates the rate. Desirable temperature range is 22ºC to 27º C.
(4) The tube must be vertical. A 3º variation from the vertical rate accelerates the rate by 30 percent.
(5) Dirty Wintrobe tubes or capillary pipets can decrease the rate.
(6) Tubes should be placed free from vibration or disturbance.

d. Normal View.
(1) Males: Zero to nine mm per hour.
(2) Females: Zero to 20 mm per hour.

ثمة خطأ مطبعي في شرح Westergren هنا فالأرقام معكوسة:
نأخذ 1.6 من دم المريض ، و 0.4 مل من المميع.
رمز المميع ليس ESR فهو Sodium citrate

التيوب التي تستخدم في هذه الطريقه تشبه تقريبا تيوب الHbفي طريقه ساهلي, وتضعها في الرك الخاص بها لمده ساعه طبعا بعد ان تملاها بالدم الممزوج مع الانتي كوكلنت وبعدها تلاحظ ترسب الكريات مثلما تراها في الطريقه العاديه, لكن هذه الطريقه غي مستعمله ويمكن الغيت والله اعلمتعليق
