            -used to idenyify viral antibodies and can be used to detect fungal antibodies
            -complement is enzymatic serum protein
            -this test depend on the ability of complement to intract with antibody and specifice antigen to cause cell lysis

                  اضيف الى ذلك بانrubella يمكن تشخيصها ايضا بواسطة
                  -latex agglutination
                  -complement fixation test
                  -hema agglutination inhibtion test

                    Infectious mononucleosis:IM
                    • acute viral infection
                    • charactarized by,fever,sore throate,swollen lymph gland, splenomegaly and abnormal liver function
                    • transmitted from person to person by saliva
                    • the causative agent is Epestein-Barr Virus (EBV )
                    • EBV increase increase heterophile antibody formation
                    • presence of heterophil antibody increase is highly diagnostice for IM
                    • SEROLOGICAL TEST
                    • Rapid slide test is common test for EBV

                            Rapid Plasma Reagin
                            -it is agglutination test
                            -used to diagnosis of syphillis but not specifice as VDRLtest
                            -used to detect antibody- like substance reagin
                            what mean with reagin
                            it is mean this test does not look for antibodies against the actual bacterium,but rather fo antibodies against substances released by cells when they ar damaged byTreponema.Pallidum
                            -also used to screen people who have symptoms of sexually transmitted disease
                            Results reported as Reactive
                            -reactive(positive)sligh or large agglutination
                            -in positive results does not mean the patients definitely has syphillis, it only idicate the presence of reagin
                            Nonreactive,no agglutination
                            false positive results
                            many of disease contribute in giving false positive results of RPR,as malaria,hepatities,tubreculosis,measels scarlt fever,leprosy,rheumatoid arthritis,and rheumatoid fever
