μm has no RBCs in food vacules, has ecentric karyosome and irregular peripheral chromatin, the cyst ranging 10-30 μm , rounded and has 8 nuclei and many needle-like chromatoid bodies, stool sample will be formed because its nonpathogenic parasite, this features will clear by using the iodine staining and and we usually use normal saline to see the movement where E. histolytica has an active purposeful movement while E. coli exhibits sluggish and not purposeful movement.
