slide method (bound mehod)coagulase test is performed to diffrentiate bitween the staph.arues & others of staphelococci group.
we used two methods:
test tube method (free method)
slide method
put two drops of distill water in each end of slide.
by sterile wire loop take good growth of organism and make a suspention with the two drops on the slide.
add the plasma (few 1drop) at one end of slide not both.
observe the clottin under microscope.
result:
clotting---- +ve (presence of staph.arues)
no clotting----- -ve ( spieces of staph other than aureus)
